Meet Trenton Dunn & ThinkChicago:
Trenton Dunn is a ThinkChicago Program Manager at World Business Chicago, where he leads STEM talent attraction and retention events like ThinkChicago Lollapalooza. He holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing from Western Kentucky University. Originally from the Bluegrass State, Trenton has happily made Chicago his home away from home for the past decade. When he is not working with students, you can find him exploring the city or catching up on the latest TV. Prior to joining World Business Chicago, he served as the Director of Programs at Chicago’s largest high school scholarship organization, Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund. Trenton is passionate about helping tomorrow’s leaders gain access to spaces they have traditionally been excluded from.
ThinkChicago program launched in 2011 under Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Since then, ThinkChicago has invited some of the brightest university students across the city and around the country to explore Chicago’s dynamic tech economy and innovation ecosystem. In partnership with the city’s leading corporates and tech companies, they connect diverse, top-tier talent with career opportunities – both full-time jobs and internships.
